About the Trust
The Wallis Trust was established in 2008
as a charitable trust following the sale of Frederick Wallis House, in
Lower Hutt, New Zealand.
Frederick Wallis House Trust had been
established in memory of the third Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of
Wellington, Frederick Wallis, by his wife Margaret Wallis for the
purpose of providing a place and space for Christian people to rest,
nurture and develop their spiritual dimension through prayer, worship,
reflection, reading and learning.
Retreats,
quiet days,
and learning
experiences
are among the ways the
‘soul has been fed’. The Wallis Trust will
continue to further the vision of Margaret Wallis by enabling ways of
'feeding the soul.' To apply for a grant from the Wallis
